I have this plane for a year and it worked well. Snipe is a problem, but can be adjusted by the shims in / out tables. A big problem, though, when I tested the blades for the first time to change, the small hex screws that release blades turns. This happens even if you are a real key instead of what cheezey. And if the key slides, knuckles right in the magazine. Once one of the screws 14 laps, the knife can not be removed. And because the vines are buried in the cutting head can not be a different type of tool will release the rounded screw. Along with many other models is 12-1/2 "Delta model has a design much better. I take my time and I've repaired so it would be money ahead to buy a better model.

Budding amateur carpenter. My experience with this planer me forever wars Yellow Tools.

I bought the plane about two years ago for a specific project. After the postponement of six months, I finally took the plane out of the box. At the second stop could pull through the Board of Directors. Would be blocked at the mid-air, which burn holes blacks.

When the box arrived, it seemed difficult and intimidating. Once opened, and that went together in under half an hour.

When I put on Dewalt Planer holes lined up right and it is a perfect fit. Planer now takes up less space than my old base, I put together and has great stability. I am very happy with this purchase, and are planing to use more now.

Great deal for a great product!
